Texas Quack Smacker was founded in 2008. Donnie Childress, B.D. Hailey, and Jeff Larson have brought their experiences and passion for waterfowling together to create a unique and comprehensive community to further the burning desire to chase these acrobatic winged birds no matter what Mother Nature throws their way. These 3 men have a deep earnest obsession for the sport of duck hunting. We want to portray our enthusiasm to others that are new to the art or veterans of the fall flight.
Texas Quack Smacker’s mission is to combine all duck hunter’s passion together and build a community that ties hunters from Texas’ north pot hole region, down Texas ’ river systems flooded timber all the way to the marshes along its coast. As we grow the waterfowl community, we want to create an elaborate stage that gives a greater coverage to Texas waterfowl conservation, laws, new technology, apparel, equipment and events that take our sport from a hobby, to a heritage and make it a way of life. We are open to everyone that wants to be a part of something dynamic. We look forward to seeing you in the duck blind.
